River City Pops is looking for male and female Performers for their next show.  This upcoming show will include a wide variety of live music and dance styles that include Pop, Rock, Latin and Swing.

River City Pops is a pop/variety show chorus that's been entertaining Austin audiences since 1984. We're made up of singers and dancers who love to perform for the sheer fun of it. So if you want to join an exciting group of performers, give us a call or email us and we can schedule an audition appointment. This is a great opportunity for people who work full time or have a family but still want to be able to perform. Rehearsals are usually one night a week and we have a few more rehearsals as we get closer to show time. We are not made up of professional singers and dancers, but we put on one heck of a show that keeps our audiences coming back year after year. It's upbeat, fun and a great way to show your stuff.

Entrance into the group is by audition for places as they come available. Auditions are held shortly after the run of each show. Several of our members are charter members. Turnover is about 5-10% per year. RCP has only one requirement for membership: that you be the best singer/performer applying for the open position, regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin.
